
My services as a private cook are by hour plus groceries. My hourly rate is $20 an hour per family. (for dinner parties and catered parties please see Packages) Price includes serving finished plates or served family style. I can bring finished desserts to be served also, please see Catering for prices on deserts.
I can either provide a list of groceries, or do the shopping for you for an additional $20. This pricing method allows for flexibility on the level of pricing. The more complicated the menu the longer the cook time, and the expense on the ingredients are up to you. I am great with budgets but can also find specialty ingredients. Italian:
- Lasagna with bread and salad
- Pasta (spaghetti, linguine, penne) with meatballs, meat sauce, Longo’s special chicken marinara, vegetarian marinara, clam sauce, vegetarian primavera (white or red), carbonara
- Ricotta gnocchi with braciole, bread and salad
- Chicken cacciatore, rice or risotto and salad
- Osso buccho, rice or risotto, salad
American:
- Stuffed cheese burgers, starch, vegetable/s
- Steak (choice of cut), starch, vegetable/s
- Roasted chicken, starch, vegetable/s
- Pork roast/chops, starch, vegetable/s
- Baked ham, starch, vegetable/s
- Meatloaf, starch, vegetable/s
TexMex:
- Pork, chicken or ground beef chuck enchiladas with rice and beans and fixings
- Pork, chicken or ground beef chuck enchilasagna with rice and beans and fixings (an enchilada lasagna)
- Steak, pork or chicken fajitas with rice and beans and fixings
- Pork, chicken or ground beef chuck tacos (soft or hard) with rice and beans and fixings
- Chili with rice and fixings (fixings include chopped tomatoes, onions, peppers of choice, shredded or crumbled cheese of choice and sour cream or crèma)
AmerAsian:
- Beef, pork or chicken stir fry with rice and Chinese vegetables
- Beef, pork or chicken lo mien with Chinese vegetables
~Salad options: Caesar, spring mix with feta and olives, garden salad, Caprese salad, cucumber salad or custom
~Starches include potato, sweet potato, rice, egg noodles, macaroni and cheese
~Vegetables include asparagus with garlic and lemon or hollandaise, green beans with almonds, cinnamon or glazed carrots, Harvard beets, spinach with onions garlic and feta, cole slaw, and many seasonal options
